Hi. My name is Tom Siegert and local football is a huge part of my life. I played my first game of footy as an eight year old, have played over 300 games of senior footy and am still involved with my local club today. On top of this, I have worked as a stand-up comedian for over two decades, performing comedy at hundreds of different country and suburban footy clubs across Australia as both a stand-up comedian, and as my character The Suburban Footballer.

During this time, I have developed a passion for helping clubs organise functions that are financially successful and hugely entertaining for all those in attendance. This is why I have decided to launch Footy Functions, a ‘one stop shop’ for footy clubs to help them organise all types of functions ranging from comedy nights to sportspersons’ luncheons to trivia nights.

As I have grown up around footy clubs, I know the importance of a successful event. I plan to use my skills, networks and years of experience to book the best suited talent within your budget, assist with fundraising initiatives and provide tips and information so that your club can run a profitable function that will leave those that attend wanting more.
